There is no "electrical power output" of a starter motor or any other electric motor. Electric motors CONSUME electrical power, they don't generate it! The power output of electric motors is measured in horsepower or fractional horsepower. The electrical power CONSUMED by the motor to produce this mechanical power is measured in watts. Thus, a starter motor which draws 40 amperes at 12 volts while cranking CONSUMES 40 x 12, or 480 WATTS of electrical power. In a perfect conversion of electrical-to-mechanical energy, 746 WATTS equals 1 HORSEPOWER.
As for the power output of a Savage starter...I have no idea.
